TWINKLE TRAILS (2011)

Twinkle Trails is both a webseries and an educational app for teachers, students, and parents. The app enabled teachers to take attendance and track health and behavior so that the parent could receive live updates. After the daily tasks were taken care of Ms. Twinkle would announce the subject for the day and students would be whisked to an imaginative land where a song introduces the basics of the subject of the day before the in-class teacher would dive into the details of the lesson.
Since it’s initial release, the core 25 songs have been released on YouTube separately to widen the program’s impact.

Based on several of Irving’s famous short stories (including The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Rip Van Winkle, The Pride of the Village, The Devil and Tom Walker, and The Spectral Bridegroom) and entwined with several famous legends and myths from revolutionary New England, THE HOLLOW, invites the audience to a Halloween celebration like no other...
Five years have passed since the infamous disappearance of schoolmaster Ichabod Crane on the eve of All Hallows. Katrina and Bram Bones host the annual autumn harvest festival. As memories and ghosts cross paths with the living, the audience finds themselves lost in a party masking an ancient ritual. THE HOLLOW probes the realm of the supernatural and the darker recesses of the human spirit creating a show where the audience can celebrate the Halloween season with an experience that is both festive and eerie—yet still driven by a meaningful element of original storytelling.

To properly capture the societal upheaval in England over the course of the play, the music was written to be loud and bombastic—almost destructive at times. However, somewhere in the midst of betrayals and beheadings, a small courtly song cuts through—the last reminder of the garden before the fall.
